Fill in the Blanks

So, I should be doing something else, but instead I'm posting--finally. It's been too long, as usual, but I never feel like I have anything to say unless I wait a really long time in between posts. Or I think, "I'll do it later. Right now I need to______________." Fill in the blank with whatever comes to mind----take kids to__________ [another fill in the blank--seminary, school, work, a friend's house, band practice, church youth activity, the store, etc.] do homeschool, exercise, clean the___________[kitchen, bathroom, garage, floor, etc.] make dinner, read___________[scriptures, the newspaper, my book-club book, everyone's blogs, etc.], or even take a nap (yeah, right!). Anyway, so now that I think about it, that something else I should be doing--the audit for Foothill Knolls PTA (where my kids don't even attend anymore)--I'd better go do it while the kids are playing at a friend's and I can actually think. So, I guess now I have to say, "I'll blog some more later, right now I have to___________________." [audit] (Blech.)

Trains

Jared and Noah had a blast with the train set the other day. Noah was especially persistent in figuring out how to do a track that had some elevation while getting creative with the pieces he had. Here are the results!

Disney Dinner

Recently our ward young women put on a fundraiser dinner featuring a Disney theme.
John's a pirate in this picture. He's after Sir Mitchell, who's Dallin's age.
Brooke loved playing the part of Snow White, and did a great job. Happy and Dopey were adorable, too, though I am a bit biased. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Pocahontas, and Mulan were there, as well, along with princesses in training, knights, and pirates.
